Lucy by the Sea by Elizabeth Strout
3.0

I really enjoyed reading about the COVID-19 pandemic and reflecting back on it from a literature point of view. I did not like the way the author wrote in prose, resulting in rereading to comprehend what I was actually reading. Lucy was an alright character but seemed to lack pizzazz or a spark to be a main character. Some parts were dull and felt like it dragged on.Overall, it was a quick read which gave me vivid flashbacks from 2020-2021.
