But Enough About Me is a fun, easy read made all the more enjoyable by Burt Reynolds' self-deprecating charm and honesty about his own life, opinions, and dealings with major figures in movies and sports.

The conversational tone belies any major literary ambitions that Reynolds or Jon Winokur may have had, but it's made all the more bittersweet reading it so shortly after Reynolds died at the age of 82, leaving this legacy of fond and fun memories.

"I may not be the best actor in the world, but I'm the best Burt Reynolds in the world... and there's one thing they can never take away: nobody had more fun than I did."
