The Last Camel Died at Noon by Elizabeth Peters

5.0

Such a fun read. Before picking this one up, I had the thought that it would likely be quite similar to her previous four books, as they had a distinct pattern to them. While much of the pattern is delightfully in place, there are significant differences in the adventure they find themselves in this time. Peters notes this in an admission conversation between Emerson and Peabody. Definitely worth a read.
