Sorry- I hated this book. The style of writing was not my favorite and I didn’t like the subject matters written. Nina is in an abusive relationship in a rich abusive household and her only solace is her car and the animal shelter. I understand the premise and the message of the book but I didn’t identify with it or feel good to have read it. This book feels like a waste of time to read was almost a do not finish. The abortion part was too gruesome for me. Do not recommend if you have any type of trauma from blood, abortions, or hazing.
