The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well
by Meik Wiking
hopeful
inspiring
reflective
fast-paced
I mostly read this because of Erin and I going to Copenhagen and it seemed like an easy read. I didn’t think much of it for most of the book, mostly because it really did not need to be a full length book. Probably could have summed it up in a short essay. But the ending surprisingly moved me. I like the bit about hygge being cultivating happiness in the everyday and I think, even though it was kind of trite, the part about practicing gratitude is something that would be worthwhile to try.
