4.25 stars! A brutally honest memoir, devoid of self-pity. I didn’t know who [a:Jennette McCurdy|15457334|Jennette McCurdy|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1667294883p2/15457334.jpg] was prior to reading this book (her Nickelodeon shows were after my time), but I came away from this story with the utmost respect for the work she has put into discovering her true self. The book was a bit slow to start, but once it picked up about 1/3 of the way in, I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend the audiobook in addition to the paper book (or, just the audiobook, which is read by the author). Definitely recommended.
