I really enjoyed the mix of comedy and dark romance, I'd honestly read more dark romance if it had the comedy mixed in to lighten the mood. I could have used without some of the gore, mostly the first scene with Leander and Lachlan, it's a good thing I don't like pizza and beer, LOL.

I loved the romance and how it developed, I just wish there'd been more spice before ~60% of the way through the book. However, the author made up for some of that in the rest of it and the epilogues.

Overall, it was a great read, if a bit sad, I'm glad to say that the dog gets through fine, as it says in the content warnings, yay!

Narrator Rating: 5.0 stars

Both narrators did an amazing job. I would not recommend listening to it too loudly in the car, however, as some of the sex scenes are a bit, um graphic with panting and such.
