5.0

I Could Live Here Forever is my first read by Hanna Halperin. The story centers around Leah, who has moved to Wisconsin to finish her MFA. She meets Charlie in a grocery store. Charlie, who is a recovering heroin addict sweeps Leah off her feet. While he says he will never use again, will he? This story is beautiful and aching. It's a story about love, loss and codependency. These characters were so fleshed out and it hurt to read the things they were going through. I am glad the book ended the eay it did also. It's left open-ended and there is so much growth left to be had. This is a five star read and I hope everyone appreciates this book as much as I do. Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Group Viking for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
