Pulpy narrative, full of ridiculous, meledramatic, cliched dialogue -- BUT it works. Great gooey descriptions of symptoms abound. I just finished "Don't wait, exfoliate!" and I was actually squirming in my seat on the train. Despite the disturbing subject matter, it's light reading -- I'll be finished in a day or so I bet.
