Ali Hazelwood is one of my must read authors, but this book felt really different than a lot of her other books. The FMC is a genius like all the others but she has a past and felt more sure of herself in a lot of areas. She pushes for what she wants and lets the MMC know how things are going to be. It also felt like there was so much build up that the end felt kind of rushed. But I loved the setting and the premise of why the group was in Sicily, and it was great to see characters from past books pop up in this one.
