Curse of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz

3.0

Another frenetic, wisecrack-a-minute outing for Isabel Spellman and her family of PIs. I actually liked this book even better than book 1 - amid all the quirky lists and the multiple subplots and the epic levels of family dysfunction it had an underpinning of genuine sweetness to it - not overpowering but something that popped up every fifty pages or so. I finished it feeling very affectionate towards the family and Isabel in particular.
