The Angel of Indian Lake is so complicated, unhinged and disturbing, it’s addictive. Proofrock endures a slashing that’s manic and high-speed, leaving it to recover from a blood soaked tidal wave.

All the horror and slasher themes collide and it’s up to Jade Daniels to find a way to raise the dead and settle the score, once and for all.

I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either. I just couldn’t get past how poorly Jade (MC) was profiled. For all that she went through, if I could change one thing, it would be that she’d been shown more respect; most specifically from the author himself.

Thank you to Simon & Schuster Canada and NetGalley for the eARC of The Angel of Indian Lake in return for my honest and personal opinion.
