"For ten years, I thought I was preparing to destroy you, when really I was preparing to love you.
All of which is to say I hope this finds you.
And I hope you find me too.”
If you are a hopeless romantic that loves k-dramas, especially ones that recreates the feelings of puppy love and first crushes, this book is for you. I absolutely adore a rivals-to-lovers romance and Ann Liang delivered it so wonderfully with her lyrical writing and her sentimental romantic moments. There were a multitude of cute push and pull scenes that had me kicking my feet and giggling the whole time I was reading the book. Julius is one of the sweetest and wittiest MMCs, and Sadie is so introspective and relatable in her need to be a try hard people pleaser. They both have such a playful yet competitive relationship that really make their chemistry shine.
