Delicate Escape by Catherine Cowles

Disability rep : anxiety
Starting over
Romantic thriller

Forced proximity

I liked the thriller part of this, but not the romance. It felt kind of forced to me and pretty bonkers too. Here's this woman who is terrified to let another person into her home. A plumbing problem forces her to do so and it takes a food week of getting to know the man before he comes inside. Then the very next day she asks him to move in! I'm sorry, what? We're supposed to believe she just gets over this terror because she likes how he looks without a shirt?

This can be read as a stand alone, but I think it might spoil book 1. I didn't read book 1 so I can't be positive.

There are way too many characters in this book. And the next two stories are basically set up in this one.
