Don't Go Baking My Heart by N.G. Peltier

Sooooo I'm a big fan of the grump sunshine trope so this was a lot of fun for me. We have a grumpy no nonsense business man who is hoping to move up the ladder at his work and is forced to participate in a social company event to prove that he is a team player despite wanting to do anything but. In an effort to make a good impression he asks for help and our fun bubbly and flirtatious female lead steps up.

NOW admittedly there were a few things about her personality and behavior that felt a little off, like it didnt make sense and after we learned more about her backstory I still felt like it could have been included in a way that felt more authentic, but I REALLY liked the idea of her and I surprizingly really enjoyed the male lead who (like me) is a project manager (or at least I think he was, I read this a few months ago so sue me if I'm wrong, lol). And I found myself relating to him more than I'd like to admit lol.

Overall had a really great time and I look forward to reading more from the series and for the author in general.
