Snuff
by Chuck Palahniuk
Palahniuk is the master of the grotesque. Snuff wasn't my favorite book of his, but it was more than enjoyable. I laughed out loud at the fictional porno flick names. It's not often that you come across a book that it's in present tense and only covers a few hours' time, so it was intriguing and impressive in that regard. The plot is imaginative and toes the line between absurd and believable that only a storyteller like Palahniuk could pull off.
