The Witch's Daughter
by Paula Brackston
I really loved the concept of this book but the execution was a bit lacking for me. The story has a lot of potential, a witch on the run, changing identities over the centuries, right up my alley. However BIG moments of the book are rushed, like how each of her lovers are just.....suddenly in love with her, no development really particularly with Archie. Some of the characters were really developed, only to be a minimal part of the story. But overall I enjoyed ready it, it just seemed rushed and choppy at parts with an ending that leaves a little to be desired after the buildup! Might come back to this series after a couple other books!
