InfernoL A Poet's Novel by Eileen Myles

3.0

I had to take my time with this book because there was so much meandering in it. It mostly just felt like a plotless chronicle of Eileen Myles’s life, just people they were hanging out with and having sex with and traveling with. I think I liked the last third the best because it felt more like short anecdotes instead of a winding, changing story. There were some really great moments in here! A lot of self-discovery and awkwardness and shenanigans. I liked how it was like listening to a friend tell stories.
