This book tells the story of the world going through a political crisis and escalation. The mix of political and spy thriller is well done. The different situations of the protagonist showcase the different reactions people have in a crisis situation. I enjoyed when the storylines overlapped. 
The pace was a little slow at times. The ending is abrupt but well chosen in my oppinion.
