So fun! I giggled out loud a few times, and the pacing picked up for me after a few chapters.
I did just recently read The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers, and I found myself comparing the books due to a slightly similar setting. Best not to, because they really aren't very similar in tone or perspective. And I loved the ending.
