Well, I have nothing bad to say about Bittersweet but I don't really have anything good to say either.
All in all, I wasn't too interested in Shay's story. The whole music business felt very unreal and out of place in the Chocolate Box series and I couldn't make myself care about his problems with Cherry, having read the following books, I know they are still very happy together (cue The Turtles song).
So, two stars according to GR definition of "it was okay" is the best I can do, really.
