I don't know why I wasn't expecting this to be as emotional as it was. I should've known anything written by Chloe Walsh was going to be full of emotional damage, and it was.
I absolutely loved Claire and Gibsie's story, it was full of love and fun and banter. There's also a darker side to this story and it tore my heart into pieces and then stiched me back up again - much like the rest of the boys of tommen series.
My only "complaint" is that I wish it was a longer book, I just felt like I wanted (and needed) more time with this story and Claire and Gibsie. Its 550 pages, but I still wanted more.
