For the amount of hype this book has it was extremely underwhelming. It was very slow paced, the first 70% of the book felt like a chore to get through and I’m sorry but i hated the cat’s pov chapters and dreaded reading them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I can appreciate what the author was doing here but this book was not for me though that could be more an error on my behalf as i dove into this book expecting it to be a horror?? where as this is more of a psychological mystery/thriller novel and should been classed as one.
