The Lost Manuscript by Cathy Bonidan

3.0

In 2016, Anne-Lise is staying in a seaside hotel in Brittany, France, when she finds a manuscript in a drawer. It's a love story, and a very good one. When she finishes reading it, she sends it to an learn that he lost the manuscript 30 years ago in Montreal. Anne-Lise is determined to find out how the manuscript made its way to Brittany and where it had been all those years. During the course of the investigation, she makes new friends and finds out how the manuscript has touched all those who came in contact with it over the years. Written as a series of letters, between various writers, it was a little difficult to keep track of who was who and what was what. I did have to go back, pay closer attention and make notes. Requires a little work, but it's a good read.
