This is my first Eloisa James book and it did not disappoint. Kept me gripped from page one, an interesting premise for a historical romance novel. Alaric is one of the Wilde children and is back in England after travelling the world and writing books about his experiences. Willa debuted last season and is attending a party at the Wilde estate to celebrate Alaric’s brother’s engagement. Alaric and Willa seem like complete opposites, but their witty repartee soon indicates otherwise. Great historical romance with some steamy scenes and a bit of suspense thrown in too!
