I've been a big fan of Jackson since When We Collide. I've been hearing good things about this series and had to check it out! Austin and Edie have endured so much heartbreak as teenagers. It seems only right they would find each other. They were together until a misunderstanding tears them apart. They spend several years just going through the motions. One night they are reunited and they pick back up where they left off. During this time they learn things about each other and are able to break down their walls. We do have some angsty moments and I wasn't sure how it would work out in the end. One thing about Jackson is that she knows how to write a story. The words just flowed and her storytelling is flawless. As a fan of her older works I was expecting my heart to be completely ripped out and gutted but with this book I came out unscathed. With that being said I still enjoyed this book. Long time fans of Jackson will enjoy the story. I will be sure to check the other books in this series.
