I have no gauge for which to rate this book. It’s cursed, chilling, horrific, but I had to keep reading. The bleak mundaneness to which society treats cannibalism is surely a commentary on industrial animal agriculture. The dystopian post-pandemic premise explored hypocrisy and conspiracy that ran through all classes and social levels. Overall brutal, vile, sickening.
Do not read while eating meat.
