I personally loved Crescent city! I’ve been reading a lot of reviews of how Hunt is basically Rhys and Bryce is basically Aelin but i honestly beg to differ.
I’m rereading a court of must and fury and I think Rhys and Hunt are different, similar in a way (of course because they’re Sarah’s characters) but I feel like both are uniquely different.
And Bryce and Aelin are different too, Aelin was way more intense and Bryce has a unique character as well. Again similar but not.
I especially liked how Bryce’s ptsd was written, I thought it was really interesting and I really sympathised with her (especially during that scene when they went to Sabine’s place and Amelie called her trash) I know she’s done a bunch of bad stuff, but I think that’s what makes her character way more real for me. She’s messed up, she’s been mean, she’s made mistakes and haven’t we all?
That’s why I really liked Bryce.
NOT TO MENTION THE LIGHT IT UP SCENE AT THE END I sobbed so hard oh my days!
