This was a delightful read. For those who don't know this book is based on some skits the author did last year about an older Fantasy Herione. There are a lot of meta jokes about the heroine not being a "16-year-old Waife". The book does a lot of breaking the fourth wall in the storytelling. It's a book within a book kind of story.
The skits aren't required to read this book but they do add to the fun as there are some callbacks to them.
The book also adds a lot more to the story and a more fleshed-out world. The ending is a little open-ended. But if this is all we get it has a satisfying ending.
