I wanted to love this, because the plot and ideas were so original and 'new', and as someone who was 'there' for it, I got a great buzz off the initial CorpseHusband like introduction of Bel, but I kinda struggled with this one.
And I hate that, because it wasn't unejoyable, it was just long and I found my (admittedly, very easily distracted) mind wandering often. I think this may be one I would have been better off having as an audiobook to keep said wandering mind more engaged.
I'll give the next one a go, which I imagine will focus on Penny ? Is this even a spoiler considering the timing of her introduction.
