The cover is cute, the real estate angle is unique, and I love the diversity! But everything else about this story had me bored to tears. There's no chemistry between Matt and Cadence, nothing that could be built upon down the line. And everything felt weirdly forced. It lacked a good rhythm and needed a hook to really pull the readers in.
There are better friends-to-lovers, faking dating, workplace romances out there.
