Significance by Shelly Crane
5.0
Significance was a very different book for me. I had been craving a good cute romance for a while and I had stumbled across Shelly Crane during an author takeover and the synopsis caught my attention immediately. I dove into this book, almost binge reading it in a matter of about 2ish days. The way in which they came about their relationship is like something you see in movies, Maggie saves Caleb from being hit by a car and then there is a spark. I got so many memories of the "Zing" from Hotel Transylvania when I read this book. Even though this type of love isn't super realistic, it's one of those romances that you fall into because it's so cute and made for a movie. Their relationship still has real world instances, like jealousy, being young and in love and immature when facing new love. If you want to read a more realistic romance, this is certainly not for you, but if you are looking for a different, supernatural take on love at first sight, then I would suggest this book as it is something really different that I really enjoyed and I am so glad I was able to discover this author.
