Too Good To Be True by Ann Cleeves

I miss Jimmy Perez and the Shetland series very much and was delighted to find this quick read the other day.
I know Ann Cleeves will not write any more and her reason for it. Both make me sad.
This was as great as her other Shetland books. Small but perfectly formed. I love Ann Cleeves stories. They are not gory, nor sensational. They're not wildly complicated and I never guess the murderer until the page before the detective arrests them. Long may she continue to write Vera or Matthew or anything stand alone.
