The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

“Is he your prince?” Lily grins.
I snap back into the conversation.
Henry shimmies his shoulders. “We’ll have to wait and see if he carries her off to his kingdom.”
The only kingdom that man resides in is hell and I’m not interested in visiting. He’s a devil in a designer suit with a personality to match.

- The Book Itself -

I loved it really! It was great and the plot was very much intresting. I'm intrigued about the next 2 books in the serie because this one had a great storyline and I can't really seem to think of another two for the upcoming books. So excited to get to them!!!

- The Characters -

Zara is definitely one of the best female characters ever. She is everything I aspire to be one day. Don't get me started at the fact I died laughing because of her.

“You’re selfless, caring, and willing to go above and beyond to help those around you. You tutor kids for free, and you bring a grumpy old man bread and cookies. And the selfish part of me wanted to steal a piece of you for myself. You reminded me of what it was like to not feel so damn lonely all the time, and I didn’t want to lose that.”

“You don’t want me to help you with that problem?”
“Take a man out to dinner first.”
“Does my pussy count?”

What if jerks are my kink?
Well, at least it explains your unhealthy obsession with Mr. Darcy.

“You better have a massive dick to back up that attitude or else people will be mighty disappointed.”
“Care to bring out a ruler and test your theory?”
“I left my magnifying glass at home, so maybe tomorrow.”

He’s the Devil, Zahra.
Well, that explains why Eve fell for his tricks. If the Devil looked half as good as Rowan, I’d eat the damn apple, too. Screw the consequences.

Zahra's family was top tire along with her bff.
Rowan is a good love interest and I think his character development was good.
Declan annoyed the shit out of me so I hope he gets WHIPPED in his book so I could laugh at him.
But I'll have to say that my favorite brother is definitely Cal. That guy is just perfect. I'm really excited for his book to come out and can't wait to see more of him.

- The Ship -

Now now as much as I hated on some of Rowan's actions I have to admit he really is dreamy boyfriend when he wants to be one. Him and my dear Zahara were so cute, enjoyable, full of love and sexy don't forget sexy!!!!

Zahra has this way of dreaming that I find intoxicating. It makes me want to create along with her and design something that brings her vision to life. And that alone is terrifying.

Zahra’s my opposite in every way that counts. I can’t compare to a woman who can light up a room with her smile alone. She’s like the sun, with everyone orbiting around her to bask in her warmth. Unlike me, who keeps people away from me with nothing but a scowl.

She feels perfect in my arms, and I’m tempted to keep her tucked beside me where I can protect her from all the darkness in the world, including myself.

Kissing Zahra is like reaching Heaven after an eternity spent in purgatory. Like I’ve spent most of my life hopelessly ambling around, waiting for her to show me the way back to the light. She’s divine with enough wickedness to make a sinner like me want to pray in devotion.

Forget sparks. Together, we’re a raging inferno so blistering, I’m scared that I’ll burst into flames if I touch him. It’s fitting, seeing how falling for Rowan is like playing with fire. One wrong move can consume me. Ruin me. Turn me into nothing but ashes in his wake.

Zahra’s it for me. I know it with everything in me, and my intuition has never been wrong before. There’s nothing in the world I’ll find more beautiful than her. Not the sun. Not the moon. Not even the entire galaxy compares to the light she radiates wherever she goes.
