Summer Light, and Then Comes the Night by Jón Kalman Stefánsson

so disappointing how misogynistic this novel was considering how beautiful the writing is. take out all the instances where a man describes his boner because a woman wearing a shirt happens walks by or goes ahead and has sex with a woman who’s body odour almost makes him vomit and you’d have a much better (although much slimmer) novel.
