Such a promising premise that ended up being weird and disjointed as a novel. I finished the book feeling like I wouldn’t be able to explain the plot to someone because I was still fuzzy on it. Too much mysteriousness going on without enough explanation. Content considerations: some weird deaths mentioned (not graphic), suspense with dangerous elements outside the train, passengers experience hallucinations, several people are forcibly sedated. 15+
