I wanted to like this book a lot more than I actually did. Turns out it was just ok. I wish it was more suspenseful or a whole done it type thriller, but at times it was such a slog to get through. I didn’t care for the jumping time lines between the narrators time at boarding school with the death of the student, Thalia Keith, and the present day. And what really undid this for me was that throughout the book the narrator is speaking directly to the killer. I think I would have preferred this story told as a direct timeline or not through the narrators POV - but the combination of both just made this book sort of just ok.
