The Proposal
by Katie Ashley
Great book! I liked this a lot more than the proposition! I was soooo happy going on facebook this morning and seeing it was live a few days early..I was so into the book that I ended up running like the wind to pick my kid up at school!
So in this book, we see a bit more of Aiden's side of things. There's a lot less of Emma's whining. I like that things weren't "fixed" in a few days like many authors do, just a quick "I'm sorry" and everything is forgiven. Instead, Emma makes aiden sweat a bit. And I appreciate Ms. Ashley not writing in detail of every day they were apart. She filled us in enough and didn't make the reader get bored or frustrated. Anyway, I feel like its more true to life letting things take time. I have to say, I would have like more time with Aiden's nephews, they are hysterical. And Beau too.
I don't want to give much else away, I love the journey both books took us on. I look forward to reading more of this author's work, and especially Pesh's story.
