A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

Hemingway is insufferable. Why is this man considered a literary great?? The unnecessary adjectives, the horrendously misogynistic portrayal of females and the author's obsession with alcohol just made this a hard no from me early but I tried to push through to see if it got better but I have more appealing thing to read thank you very much. I should have e learned my lesson with Old Man and the Sea.
