i have a hard time accepting that the point here is that life has no real purpose and meursault is only a passive spectator of his life as he always chooses something that leads to more chaos and violence,, someone who wants to just simply go with the tides would not let the guy who hit his girlfriend hide in his house??? he would close the door,, and then wy did he wlak back out with the gun?? or go on the beach trip thing bro just stay home??
