A casa per Natale by L.A. Witt
4.0
Roger and Jack fall in love as teens, but doubt themselves and don’t share their feelings. Then, they fight a war that keeps them from everything they know.
When they meet again, they know how precious life is, and don’t want to waste any more time. Knowing it’s forbidden makes their lives harder, but not impossible.
So far from today, but sadly, not far enough, and in some ways, in some parts of the world, exactly the same.
Love endures, even when it shouldn’t have to hide or make excuses. It’s worth it. Oh, yes, the angel. It’s not a big part of this book, but she does help each of them think if the other, during the war and after.
