Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer
by John Grisham
I have mixed feelings about this book. It was meant to be a young adult book and I suppose if you look at it that way then it was good. Being a Grisham fan, however, makes it seem more like a watered down Grisham novel starring a spunky, know-it-all kid. It has some real promise. The scenes involving Theo and his washed-up lawyer of an uncle were the the standouts in the book. I enjoyed it enough to read the next entry. Knowing what to expect, I'll probably like it more. Good, quick read.
