2.75 for anzaldúa's really gorgeous and visceral treatment of her relationship with her body and her language and her intersecting identities, most of the stars taken off for her really troubling invocations of pseudoscientific race discourse, her investment in reinforcing the gender binary as an expression of spirituality, her romanticization / appropriation of indigenous identity as being for all mexicans (this just seems objectively not true?), and her tendency to make really flattening generalizations about entire identity groups that i think normally wouldn't fly.
