The novel just stops; I expected more resolution, especially about Brienne. Instead, the ending just sets up some impending massive battles around Meereen. I shouldn't be surprised since I've read the other books in the series.
Although I am glad that some of my favorite characters are still alive, I wish that more people were actually dead instead of having fake deaths (btw zombies do not count). I've reached my quota.
