This was fun read. Someone said it had a similar whimsy as The House on the Cerulean Sea. And I can see why one would say it. It wouldn't exactly suggest the Wishing Game if someone loves HOTCS unless they really loved the part about protecting the kids and wanting to adopt kids.
I think I had a hard time believing that the main character was in her mid 20s, and not her early 30s.
I did however like thatShe didn't win. That no one won, but everyone still won. It was a good happy ending. It was a bit of a predictable book but it was fun nonetheless.
