Though we don’t follow up on a few things from the first two books, I still liked it (to an extent).
Obviously not every book will have a good ending, but I think the ending was rushed leaving an empty feeling for me.
This book could’ve easily been longer (or another short book altogether). The action was well done, but the storyline was a little confusing, and the ending wasn’t satisfying. :/
I wish Zelie and Inan had more time together so that his sacrifice felt more emotional/meaningful. AND Roan is mentioned once but we don’t see him again?? I didn’t like him at first but I ended up liking him by the end of book 2, really sad that he doesn’t even make an. appearance here. Even the relationship btwn Amari and Mae’e could’ve had longer/more scenes.
