A new favourite!
I really loved the characters, they felt real and did not necessarily conform to your standard romance protagonists, which was refreshing. I really loved how raw Nora was, as a reader it was quite easy to tell that she had troubles and demons of her own, but she never wanted to open up about them because she felt responsibility. It was a bit infuriating at one or two points just how much she would sacrifice her own happiness, but there were understandable reasonings behind these actions. Charlie is very similar to Nora, and I was happy that those two were able to understand each other this perfectly because of their similarities. I loved their chemistry, banter and deep talks; their emotions could even be felt through the pages.
The humour and writing style were really great and the backdrop of the bookish world, with a literary agent and editor couple was just fantastic.
It wasn't too mushy and *spoiler* had no unnecessary 'misunderstanding/-communication that leads to break-up' trope */spoiler*, but had the right amount of seriousness, laughter, tears, and just good feelings :)
