Pros
1. Well-written pregnancy trope
2. Believable development of relationship
3. Mature communication between fmc & mmc
4. No third-act break-up
Cons
1. Not a stand-alone book
2. The conflict with another family felt immature, stupid, and out-of-place
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. While you’re supposed to start reading the series from book 1, I decided to start (and end) with this book. Personally, the side plot isn’t interesting enough for me to read the whole series and I’m not really invested in all of the characters.
