Assassin's Creed: The Secret Crusade by Oliver Bowden, Andrew Holmes

4.0

A really excellent novelisation of the original video game which fills in some of the gaps during and after the events of the game. Many big fans of Assassin's Creed started the series on Assassin's Creed 2 (that's when I started really enjoying it) but neglected to play the first due to it being basically a lesser version of Ezio's first adventure. This I think would appeal to the people who just want to understand Altair's first adventure leading into a play though or replay of Assassin's Creed Revelations. I find its really much easier to enjoy Altair's character when he isn't voiced by an American and you can imagine a native arabic speaker in your head.
