I don’t have much of a memory for Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, but I do believe this is a well-done modern retelling. The inclusion of LGBTQ+ characters and conversations, interracial relationships, IUI, women getting married older, and the general challenges of adult life with parents who don’t quite see the world the same way made it very engaging and entertaining to read.
